Previously, Epoke's specialist workers manually lubricated the fasteners before assembly to improve corrosion protection. However, managing inventory, locating the right fasteners, and manually lubricating them was not the fastest or most cost-effective solution.
With our 3-level concept, we provided an integrated solution. The SmartBin logistics system resulted in the most significant benefit by automating the ordering process, ensuring all C-parts remained stocked at the right levels. We also introduced special kit sets with pre-selected fasteners commonly used together as part of the SmartBin solution, reducing the time needed to collect parts from different bins. Lastly, our stainless steel fasteners have no thread galling, and special coatings protect against corrosion even in extreme conditions.
