The Challenge: Digitizing Internal Material Flow

One of Willemin-Macodel’s goals was to optimize their internal material flow, working in a more digitized way. Their assembly workers and the intralogisticians already used kanban cards. Often, they lost a lot of time looking for the right item for their assembly stations.

Our Solution: Increased Efficiency Thanks to Digitization

To support our customer, we sorted ourselves into two teams. One team transformed the central warehouse with our fully automated SmartBin Cloud system. Meanwhile, the other team placed our smart, modular SmartLabel Cloud solution on more than 30 mobile stations along the assembly line.

With the expansion of SmartBin at Willemin-Macodel, they now have access to the SmartBin Cloud system, electronic kanban, and our Bossard Last Mile Management. This intralogistics solution focusing on the final steps before assembly allows us to guarantee higher productivity with no disruptions or stops during the production processes.
