The EJOT PT® is a self-tapping fastener that can be installed directly into thermoplastics. Thanks to its geometry and material, this screw offers protection against hydrogen embrittlement and reduces radial stress in thermoplastics. PT® screws are used in numerous applications and industries. A2 and A4 stainless steel versions are available for special requirements on corrosion protection.

Benefits of EJOT PT® Screws

Benefits

30° Flank Angle

enlarges the thread-bearing depth and results in increased load-bearing capacity.

Benefits

This also reduces the radial forces during assembly, increases the axial section, and improves material flow.

Benefits

Optimal

material flow and low radial stress

Benefits

The EJOT PT®’s large axial component ensures optimal material flow during the thread-forming process. In addition, there is greater material displacement, which results in reduced radial stress in the core area of the screw.

Benefits

Perfect Pitch

The optimal thread pitch design provides good self-locking of the screw.

Benefits

In addition, it creates a balanced load ratio in the form of thread-bearing depth.

Benefits

Cost Savings

and increased efficiency

Benefits

The PT® self-tapping screw enables the design of thin-walled flat structures, which leads to material cost savings and reduced cycle times during injection molding.
