SPAX® Screws Overview
Indoor Screws

The main indoor applications for SPAX® screws include floors, ceilings, walls, furniture, stairs, kitchens, and bathrooms. Almost all indoor fastening elements involve MDF boards, rear panels, wooden components, or metal fittings.
One of the famous special versions, SPAX-M, is particularly powerful for assembly in MDF boards (medium-density fiberboards). The SPAX flange screw with cross recess has a higher torque without damaging or deforming the material – another ideal solution used for hardboard.
Features:
- Easy installation without pre-drilling
- Precise positioning with SPAX 4CUT tip and SPAX CUT
- Timesaving, especially with hardwood
- Corrosion protection available with WIROX (bright zinc coating, Cr6-free) and YELLOX (yellow zinc coating, Cr6-free)
Outdoor Screws

In outdoor areas, SPAX® screws are primarily used for decking, paths and walkways, façades, pergolas, and fences. For weather resistance, we always recommend SPAX® stainless steel screws (A2 or A4) in these types of applications.
Features:
- Easy installation without pre-drilling
- Precise positioning with SPAX 4CUT tip and SPAX CUT tip
- Special fixing thread ensures a secure and long-lasting connection
- Suitable for both visible and non-visible screw connections
Timber Screws

For timber construction such as carports, balconies, rafter insulation, roof trusses, and cross-bracing, SPAX® stainless steel screws and SPAX screws with WIROX coating are reliable solutions to prevent corrosion. Regardless of the type of SPAX® product, the quality and performance of the connection is guaranteed.
Features:
- Maximum corrosion protection thanks to WIROX coating or stainless steel
- Washer head screw with higher tightening torque and greater spacing between individual screws
- Ideal choice for frames and narrow wood sections
- SPAX threaded rods eliminate the need for glue
