Rivet Technology

Clufix® Blind Rivet Nuts

Clufix® blind rivet nuts provide the solution to create an internal thread in a thin or thick metal sheet or profile. Choose from a wide range of materials, head and shank types, as well as standard, medium, long, or extra-long grip lengths.

Clufix® blind rivet nuts  allow the assembly of two or more elements in the same way as a rivet, while simultaneously achieving an internal thread function. The assembly is easy: Spin the rivet nut onto a simple hand or power tool, insert into pre-drilled or punched hole, set the nut, withdraw the tool mandrel – done.

When you require load-bearing threads in thin-walled materials or profiles, blind nuts are the most effective solution. As the name suggests, they can be fitted “blind” (from one side only) with no re-machining/processing and without damage to pre-treated surfaces.

Blind Rivet Nuts with Open End

Clufix® open-end rivet nuts are used to bring in a strong and reliable thread into thin or thick metal plates/profiles, composites, or plastics where thread forming is not possible because the material is either too thin/weak/brittle or too hard for thread forming. Rivet nuts from Clufix® can  also be used for on-site repair and maintenance work.

Blind Rivet Nuts with Closed End

Similar to the open end blind rivet nuts, Clufix® closed-end rivet nuts create a strong, reliable thread in various materials where thread forming is not possible for different reasons. The huge benefit of closed-end rivet nuts is that they can ensure water and gas tightness up to IP66 and IP67.
