A POP LSR load-spreading blind rivet ideal for soft or brittle application material

POP® Load-Spreading Rivets (LSR)

The POP® Load-Spreading Blind Rivet (LSR) creates large folds on the blind side after installation. This feature provides a larger bearing surface to avoid the pull-through of the rivet or cracking of plastics or soft or other brittle application materials. This feature makes the POP® LSR the perfect solution for installation in any soft or brittle application material.

Applications

  • Camper and caravans
  • Automotive
  • Railway
  • Truck and trailer
  • Housings
  • Attachment parts
  • Plastic and lightweight products in general
  • Containers

Features

  • One-sided installation
  • Due to the large load-bearing area on the blind side, the POP® LSR avoids damage to soft, brittle materials
  • Capable of dealing with oversized holes
  • Large grip range

A POP Peel Rivet for joining softer and more brittle materials such as plastics, rubber, wood, GFRP, or laminates

POP® Peel Rivets / T-Rivets

The POP® Peel Rivet / T-Rivet is the optimal solution for joining softer and more brittle materials such as plastics, rubber, wood, GFRP, or laminates. The Peel Rivet / T-Rivet body “peels” into “petals” to fasten the application pieces together. This peeling process allows for a lot less force to be applied during the setting process on the workpiece material.

Applications

  • Automotive and commercial vehicles
  • Car chassis and doors
  • Cabinets and enclosures
  • Heating and ventilation
  • Honeycomb materials

Features

  • Mechanical locking feature of the residue mandrel: T-Rivet can withstand high vibrations without losing the remaining mandrel
  • Multi-grip version available
  • Ideal for soft, brittle material

A POP VGrip blind rivet for extended grip range on white background

POP® Vgrip® Rivets

The POP Vgrip® rivets’ extended grip range comes with premium aesthetic appearance and a wide blind side after assembly. The Vgrip rivet, with its large closing head forming, offers a lower mandrel break load during application, so that it helps to reduce the axial load on the material stack.

Applications

  • Automotive
  • Ladders
  • White goods
  • General industry
  • Renewable energies

Features

  • Multi-grip capability (covers a grip range up to 4.0 mm), enabling a reduction in rivets, which improves stock management
  • Large blind side bearing area to resist increased tensile strength
  • Controlled hole fill to avoid pressure on hole bearing
  • Rattle-free because of secured residual mandrel
  • Special versions available on request
