Bossard SmartTools

Battery-powered screwdriving and riveting devices are the perfect start in digitalizing your production. Our Bossard SmartTools receive information about the next work step directly from the system and return information about the current work status. Configuration is simple and user-friendly. The tools can be operated in our work instructions software ELAM Solutions or stand-alone. They do not require an additional control system and can store 99 different screwdriving programs.

• Easy handling: All Bossard SmartTools are intuitive to use. New operators find their way quickly and easily and do not require long training periods. 
• Direct status indication through colored LED: The fitter always receives immediate feedback from the tool through the LED display. The lights can be individually programmed and signal, for example, when the tool is is ready for use.
•  Man-Machine-Communication: The OLED display shows all important information such as battery status, set torque, status of the last processing step and more. Settings for autonomous use of the tool can also be adjusted in the tool menu. 
• Connected and Smart: The integrated WLAN module ensures wireless data transmission within the shop floor. The tools can be controlled with a central control software. The optional scanner can read 2D and bar codes and use this information to parameterize the machine for the next work step. 

Corded Screwdriver with Transducer: Kolver K-Ducer Series, EC-Screwer

The K-Ducer is an intelligent transducerized screwdriving system for your tightening operations. It provides high precision torque screwing with angle monitoring. The integrated transducer ensures perfect tightening with high repeatability. Thanks to possible integration into a control system or network, 64 different screwdriving programs can be controlled in different sequences. The corded screwdrivers are available in bar, pistol and angle versions. The working range extends from 0.1 - 70 Nm (different versions).

Straight Screwdriver Current Controlled

The straight, current controlled screwdrivers are connected to the system via I/O signals. The feedback contains information about the number and quality of the screwdrivers. The screwdriving programs are set via the control unit. The parameterization of the current intensity, which triggers the switch-off, is done at the screwing point.

The corded screwdrivers are available in bar, pistol and angle versions. The nominal working range extends from 0.5 - 70 Nm and must be checked for the respective screwdriving case (dependence on screwdriving case hardness).

Torque Arms

To ensure the operators safety and make the work as good as possible, we require a torque arm once the torque is higher than 4 Nm. There are torque arms for only holding the tool. In addition, there are arms with position sensors to detect the specific screwing position. The screw points can then be stored in the system for traceability.
